Grandpa Charlie Fisher

This request is from Mary:

Joel's Grandpa's heart medicine has stopped working and his body seems to be failing him. He has a clot in his heart that inoperable and so he might not have much time left and we are pretty sure he can't make it to the wedding. It is sad! He can't do the things he used to and he can't fly anywhere.

Father God, You know Charlie's condition and the time you have appointed for his return to Your side. If it is that time, comfort him and his family as they will miss him greatly. If it is not his time, I speak to the clots in the heart and say be removed. Arteries be opened!

Pray for Kathi's Dad

Kathi's dad, Stan, checked into St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg this morning. He was hoping to have stints placed in his legs to improve his circuation so he can walk without pain and fatigue. However, after lengthy tests, the doctors decided it would be dangerous to provide stints. It looks like he will return to his home without any work done. No one is sure what his options are.

Father,

Thank you for helping the doctors to make the life-saving decision. Give Stan and the doctors a plan for improving his mobility so he can enjoy his golden years.

In Jesus' name, Amen

Pray for Grant

Kathi's brother Grant was admitted to Manatee Memorial Hospital this morning. He was experiencing severe internal distress. After a day of testing he appears to have pancreatitis, a severe infection that could impact his other organs. He will remain the hospital a for at least a few days while they run more tests and provide treatment. Grant has other medical problems which are complicating his recovery.

Father in Heaven,

You are our healer. You know Grant's afflictions and frailties. You know what he needs for his healing. Bring his healing according to your plan for his life and according to your grace and mercy.

Update on Marc

Marc almost died yesterday. His heart stopped 3 times. Heidi Eatman had pains at the exact time and didnt know Marc was sick but she spoke out Marc is dying! Began interceding in prayer. Then called Nikki and asked if anything was going on? Nikki said her Dad was in surgery. Then later heard his heart had stopped 3 times. They think it was when the Lord spoke to Heidi. Marc is doing fine right now. He had 95 percent blockage. Keep him in prayer.

Prayer for a Former Neighbor

Peter and Ardy are former neighbors who still live Woodbury. Ardy has been struggling physically for some time and things are at critical juncture. Please joins us in prayer for Ardy and Peter.

Following is Pete's prayer request:

It is Wednesday morning and Ardy is sleeping, which is sometimes difficult to do in a hospital with all the staff coming and going, noises and other interruptions. I hesitated sending an update letting you know things are predictably difficult. Today is day five (since the transplant day which was day 0) and Ardy is feeling the continued impact of the chemo, the transplant, the medications for her infections, the medications to counteract the side effects of the medications, IV fluids, injections, etc... all while her blood count numbers are dropping. Having these predicable issues makes it somewhat easier but still difficult. Day 5 to day 10 are days her body needs to cope with all of this. Add the eyesight issue and the back pain and you have 'difficult'. We are hoping for a restful and peaceful 'difficult' day. It is without doubt that your prayers are lifting her(us) up.Every day I read to Ardy and she is encouraged by your notes, prayers and your support. Someday she will be able to read these on her own and she will be encouraged again. It seems every day we get a message from someone new who writes that they have been praying and wanted us to know. This is so encouraging. We also appreciate those of you who make entries more regularly. I hope that you get a sense of encouragement know that God's is working through so many people in this situation. The Lord is working through his people in mysterious and perfect ways.So keep praying: for strength, courage, faithfulness, peace, comfort, hope and healing. I would also appreciate your prayers for wisdom. There are a few decisions that I need to make in the next few days that require a wisdom beyond my own. -- Peter
